Itinerary

  • Meeting with Assistance at the Airport upon arrival by our Representative, later your tour chauffeur will pick you up at the Exit Gate of the arrival terminal to commence the Tour.
  • You will leave to Cultural Triangle Region, En-route visit Negombo. Negombo is traditionally a Fishing Village with catamarans by the beach at the backdrop to the Negombo scenery; which later developed as a fishing marketing center.
  • We will reach Dambulla first and will visit ancient Dambulla cave complex also known as the Royal Golden Rock Cave Temple. The area is also known for bird watching.
  • Check in at the Hotel in Sigiriya
  • Minneriya Elephant Safari
  • Dinner & Overnight stay in Sigiriya.
  • Early Breakfast
  • Visit the famous for its historical Sigiriya Rock Fortress which is over 1000 years old and has landscaped gardens, water fountains, a sanctuary and frescoes of the heavenly maidens of Sigiriya and Sigiriya town.
  • An excursion to Anuradhapura, known to have the largest number of ancient monuments of a great civilization. There are many stone sculptures and some of the most popular stone Buddha Statues in this historical kingdom.
  • Have Lunch
  • Visit Mihintale, the location where Buddhism was first introduced to Sri Lanka or the Cradle of Buddhist Civilization in the Country.
  • Return to your hotel, Relax and overnight stay.
  • After Breakfast visit Medirigiriya. The Medirigiriya Vatadage is on a high circular stage. Although this is a Ruin, the site has fewer natural damages.
  • There after an excursion to Polonnaruwa where you will see many well-preserved ruins of palaces and monasteries. You will witness many brick structures and monuments, stone monuments, Temples, Lakes, and Pagodas improved by ancient Kings.
  • Lunch
  • Leave to kandy. En route visit Nalanda Gedige the Abu Simbel of Sri Lanka. Nalanda Gedige is a remarkable archaeological site in Sri Lanka which features Buddhist – Hindu hybrid Architecture.
  • Evening arrive at the hotel in Kandy, the last Kingdom of ancient Sri Lanka and the Royal Capital under the King’s Rule until the British Invasion in 1815.
  • Check in to Hotel Sunray in Kandy
  • Relax and Chill in the Hotels Pub – The ‘Sizzle Sports Pub’ (Kandy’s Most Famous Sports Pub)
  • After breakfast visit the royal botanical gardens of Peradeniya which is best known for having the largest collection of orchids in Asia and many other varieties of plants.
  • Visit the Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage, one of the most popular attractions in Sri Lanka. It fosters the biggest herd of captive elephants in the world. Witness the elephants bathing in the nearby river.
  • Visit a spice garden and a batik factory in Kagalle
  • Visit Gem Musium
  • Lunch
  • Visit the most sacred Buddhist establishment in Sri Lanka – the Temple of Tooth at the Afternoon ceremony.
  • PM : Cultural Dance and get back to the hotel and relax at the Sizzle Sports Pub
  • PM Visit the Big Buddha Statue
  • King Arthors Chair’ – Kandy View point and back to the hotel for Dinner

  • After Breakfast leave to Ella. En route Nuwara Eliya – the centre of the hill country. Enjoy a plenty of eye-catching and heart-touching places, Waterfalls, Mysty Mountains, Tea Plantations in the cool climate .
  • Visit Tea Plantation and factory
  • Lunch in Nuwara Eliya
  • Check in to Hotel there after Trekking to Nine Arch Bridgewith an attractive unique landscape by the bridge.
  • Check out the Ella Town, Drinks and Dinner
  • After Breakfast get ready and leave to Yala, En route visit Buduruwagala. Seven colossal figures carved out of a rock face at Buduruwagala. The rock itself resembles a kneeling elephant with its head bowed down and at the end of the folded trunk is its mouth.
  • Have Lunch in Thissamaharamaya
  • PM, travel for a safari in the Yala National Park and enjoy the wilderness as you cruise around in a jeep. The view of the wild elephants seen in small and large herds are undoubtedly the best thing you will see at Yala. You will also witness herds of spotted deer and the sight of a leopard sunning itself or drinking water at a water hole will be a memorable experience if you are lucky.
  • (If Yala is closed during September-October the Bundala reserve can be visited instead.)
  • After breakfast, you will leave to the South Coast, Mirissa.
  • Mirissa has become one of greatest locations in the world for Dolphin and Whale watching. You will be able to spot Blue, Spam and Killer whales.
  • The journey includes a stay at a beach hotel. In the evening relax, enjoy your dinner & overnight stay by the beach.
  • After breakfast transfer to the airport to connect to your flight for departure. En route Waligama and Galle
  • View the stilt fisherman of Weligama as they fish.
  • Galle is a city with a colourful history. The 300-year-old Dutch atmosphere is still very much alive around the magnificent Portuguese – Dutch fort and its many historical buildings.
  • Last Minute Shopping and Lunch at the Galle Fort.
  • Transfer to the airport to connect to your flight for departure.

Common Expenses

All entrance fees as per program to be paid directly in Sri Lanka Rupees and it will cost around USD 170 per person. Please change foreign currency in to SLRS at the airport after customs, there are many 24 hrs bank counters at the airport as all these payments have to be made only in SLRS. No credit card payments are accepte at thdese sites. Subject to change slightly sometimes details are provided with rates as applicable at the moment. (Children under 12 years will be charged half rate 50% charges)

To view the Kandy Perahara procession in the night seats can be purchased directly (payment direct) or stand by the road side like the Sri Lankan’s & enjoy the view of the procession.

If required we can modify the program to have the last night in a beach hotel south of Colombo or in Negombo then proceed to the airport. Any other modifications to the program can be arranged as per individual preferences.

CANCELLATION POLICY

You may cancel your booking at any time prior to commencement of the reservations which has to be acknowledged by our company in writing. If the cancellation is made 44 days before the first date of the reservation we will retain your 1st small deposit to cover our costs. If the cancellation is notified less than 15 days prior to the first date of reservation following additional cancellation charges will apply.

  • All rates quoted are in US Dollars & net per person inclusive of all applicable taxes.
  • Every two persons sharing a double or twin room at mentioned properties or similar.
  • Welcomed at the airport by our representative.
  • Check-in at 14h00 & Check-out at 12h00.
  • Three nights on bed & breakfast basis (breakfast only) and four nights on half-board basis (breakfast & dinner).
  • Air-conditioned private vehicle with an English speaking chauffeur will be provided (Private Tour).
  • No vehicle will be provided on any free days if any (as per program).
  • Fuel & local assurance for vehicle & passengers while travelling included.
  • The chauffeur will look after his own meals & accommodation.
  • Basic private Jeep to visit reserve included for half a day – (Entrance fees to be paid directly by clients at the reserve). If for any reason the mentioned reserve is closed, we shall make arrangements to visit another reserve.
  • All entrance fees as per program to be paid directly in Sri Lanka Rupees and it will cost around USD 140 per person. Please change foreign currency in to SLRS at the airport after customs, there are many 24 hrs bank counters at the airport as all these payments have to be made only in SLRS. No credit card payments are accepted at these historical sites. (Entrance fees are subject to change, rates are as applicable at the moment – Children under 12 years will be charged a half rate in some places.)
  • Personal spending (tips, laundry, mini bar, telephone, fax, beverages etc.)
  • The right to use video cameras at sites – most places will allow to use video cameras once the entrance fee is paid except at The Temple of the Tooth in Kandy & the Pinnawela Elephant orphanage (USD 05 per Video Camera per location).
  • Medical expenses, travel insurance, international flights.

Travel Information

Sri Lanka Visa charges USD 35 per person for NON SAARC countries & for SAARC countries USD 20 per person, can be obtained directly via the internet please visit this site. http://www.eta.gov.lk/. The process is very simple payments can be paid online & with the confirmation document print out & code you have to submit passport on arrival only. The passport has to be valid for six months from the day of arrival return air tickets & sufficient funds or reservations arranged for the holiday should be with you. All nationals have to obtain a visit / tourist visa prior to arrival (Visas are not issued on arrival)
