Itinerary

  • Meeting with Assistance at the Airport upon arrival by our Representative, later your tour chauffeur will pick you up at the Exit Gate of the arrival terminal to commence the Tour.
  • En-route visit Dambulla. Ancient Dambulla cave complex also known as the Golden Cave Temple. The area is also known for bird watching
  • Minneriya Elephant Safari
  • Overnight stay in the Cultural Triangle Region.
  • After breakfast, visit Sigiriya, Sigiriya town is famous for its historical Sigiriya Rock Fortress which is over 1000 years old and has landscaped gardens, water fountains,The famous Apsara or Damsels of Sigiriya ” the frescoes of heavenly maidens add the charming art and the colour to the Rock.
  • There after visit Wasgamuwa. Proceed to Wasgamuwa & check in to hotel in Wasgamuwa Reserve
  • in the afternoon, departure to explore the Wasgamuwa reserve. The park consists of a mixed coniferous and deciduous forest, meadows and wetlands.
  • Stay overnight at Wasgamuwa with accommodation & dinner included.
  • After breakfast, you will depart for a hike in Knuckles Forest Reserve and have lunch then straight to Kandy.
  • Lunch at Knuckles Forest Reserve and there after straight to Kandy
  • Later arrive in Kandy – the Royal Capital of Sri Lanka under the King’s Rule until the British Invasion in 1815. It is also known as the centre of traditional arts in Sri Lanka.
  • After Breakfast visit the Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage, one of the most popular attractions in Sri Lanka. It fosters the biggest herd of captive elephants in the world. Witness the elephants bathing in the nearby river.
  • Witness and learn about spices at the Spice Garden in Kegalla, and experience the great riches of Sri Lankan cuisine and traditional Ayurveda therapy.
  • After breakfast visit the royal botanical gardens of Peradeniya which is best known for having the largest collection of orchids in Asia and many other varieties of plants.
  • In the evening you can view a Cultural Dance. Then visit the most sacred Buddhist establishment in Sri Lanka – the Temple of Tooth at the evening ceremony.
  • An overnight stay in Kandy
  • After Breakfast Straight to Kitulgala
  • En route The Famous Ambuluwawa Tower
  • After Lunch at the hotel, you have an option of going white water rafting in the river (minimum 2 persons are required & make direct payment – USD 20 per person).
  • Later continue to Kitulgala for overnight stay.
  • After breakfast travel to the Horton Plains Nature Reserve and embark on a guided tour with a resident naturalist guide. It is home to species like the sambar, leopards and the endemic purple-faced langur here. This is a National Park in Sri Lanka in which visitors are allowed to walk & vehicles are not allowed inside the reserve. At the ’Worlds End’ the 2000 meters plateau comes to an abrupt end, plunging 700-1000 meters to the valley floor.
  • There after leave to Nuwara Eliya – the centre of the hill country. Enjoy a plenty of eye-catching and heart-touching places and spend the evening walking in the cool climate.
  • Overnight stay at Nuwara Eliya or Ella for 2 nights
  • After Lunch explore Ella. This small town is used as a base for plenty of trekking expeditions to the surrounding countryside. Also visit the Ella Gap, Rawana Ella Falls, Little Adams Peak and Bambaragala Peak among many other varied pleasant walks with stunning scenery.
  • After breakfast, trekking and Hiking along the hills of Ella.

Things to see and Explore : Nine Arch Bridge, Ella Gap, Little Adams Peak, Ella Rock View Point, Rawana Falls, Nildiya pokuna

  • Overnight stay in Nuwaraeliya or Ella.
  • After breakfast in the morning you will head to the South-East corner of the island.
  • PM, travel for a safari in the Yala National Park and enjoy the wilderness as you cruise around in a jeep. The view of the wild elephants seen in small and large herds are undoubtedly the best thing you will see at Yala. You will also witness herds of spotted deer and the sight of a leopard sunning itself or drinking water at a water hole will be a memorable experience. Overnight with dinner included.
  • After Breakfast you will travel South to Udawalawa. The Udawalawa National Park is one of Sri Lanka’s Dry-Zone, Dry Evergreen Forests that harbours one of Asia’s largest & most viable Asian elephant populations. This park is known for its large number of elephants as well as its three species of deer.
  • You will spend the afternoon on safari by jeep in the national park.
  • Stay overnight in Udawalawa.
  • After breakfast, the morning will be spent exploring the Sinharaja rain forest Reserve. A trek along the Sinharaja paths would offer an unforgettable experience of sights, sounds and feelings.(No vehicles allowed inside the reserve)
  • Afterwards, you will drive towards the Sinharaja Forest Reserve, one of the least disturbed and biologically unique rain forests in Sri Lanka. Beautiful Streams, springs, rivers, waterfalls, leopards, monkeys, insects, rare trees, valuable shrubs and medicinal herbs are all found within its green canopy.
  • Overnight stay in the Sinharaja area.
  • After breakfast you will travel to your beach hotel in the South of Sri Lanka. Your journey will take you along the coast and you will be able to see the stilt fisherman in Weligama.
  • Stay overnight at the beach hotel by the South Coast.
  • Another day of relaxing and enjoying the sun and sea. If you want to explore further, it is possible to hire a boat to take you over to the lighthouse situated on an off-shore island. A steep climb to the top offers a fantastic view of the Sri Lankan coast.
  • Mirissa has become one of greatest locations in the world for Whale watching and you will be able to spot Blue, Spam and Killer whales.
  • Stay overnight at the beach hotel.
  • After breakfast leave for Negombo, En-route visit Galle.
  • Galle is a city with a colourful history. The 300-year-old Dutch atmosphere is still very much alive around the magnificent Portuguese – Dutch fort and its many historical buildings.
  • Then visit Colombo, the commercial and financial centre of Sri Lanka. This is a busy and vibrant city with a mixture of modern life and colonial buildings and ruins.
  • Arrive in Negombo, traditionally a Fishing Village with catamarans by the beach at the backdrop to the Negombo scenery; which later developed as a fishing marketing center.
  • Relax leisurely and overnight stay at Negombo.
  • Muthurajawela is a marsh in the southern region of the Negombo lagoon. It is the island’s largest peat bog in Sri Lanka and is notable for its unique and highly diverse ecosystem. The marsh is a major local and tourist attraction, primarily for sightseeing and boating tours.
  • The tour ends today, a transfer private vehicle will be provided to take you to the airport for your departure flight.

Common Expenses

All entrance fees as per program to be paid directly in Sri Lanka Rupees and it will cost around USD 250 per person. Please change foreign currency in to SLRS at the airport after customs, there are many 24hrs bank counters at the airport as all these payments have to be made only in SLRS. No credit card payments are accepted at these sites. Subject to change slightly sometimes details are provided with rates as applicable at the moment. (Children under 12 years will be charged half rate 50%)

To view the Kandy Perahara procession in the night seats can be purchased directly (payment direct) or stand by the road side like the Sri Lankan’s & enjoy the view of the procession.

If required we can modify the program to have the last night in a beach hotel south of Colombo or in Negombo then proceed to the airport. Any other modifications to the program can be arranged as per individual preferences.

CANCELLATION POLICY

You may cancel your booking at any time prior to commencement of the reservations which has to be acknowledged by our company in writing. If the cancellation is made 44 days before the first date of the reservation we will retain your 1st small deposit to cover our costs. If the cancellation is notified less than 44 days prior to the first date of reservation following additional cancellation charges will apply.

Travel Information

Sri Lanka Visa charges USD 35 per person for NON SAARC countries & for SAARC countries USD 20 per person, can be obtained directly via the internet please visit this site. http://www.eta.gov.lk/. The process is very simple payments can be paid online & with the confirmation document print out & code you have to submit passport on arrival only. The passport has to be valid for six months from the day of arrival return air tickets & sufficient funds or reservations arranged for the holiday should be with you. All nationals have to obtain a visit / tourist visa prior to arrival (Visas are not issued on arrival)
